Oh Snooki!

Oh Snooki! this is why I don't watch this stupid show! because its about stupid people doing stupid things! like can we have smart people MTV? please...! Urg! well most of them get arrested anyways.
HERE HAVE A LAUGH! haha!

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. – "Jersey Shore" cast member Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has been arrested in the New Jersey beach town where the MTV show is based.

Seaside Heights Police Chief Thomas Boyd says Polizzi was arrested at around 3:25 p.m. Friday and charged with disorderly conduct after other beachgoers reported she was bothering them.

Polizzi was processed at police headquarters and released on a summons.

MTV spokeswoman Emily Yeomans declined comment on the arrest, which came one day after the premiere of the show's second season.

Telephone messages left for SallyAnn Salsano, executive producer at "Jersey Shore" production company 495 Productions, and Pam LaLima, co-executive producer, were not immediately returned.

The show focuses on the escapades of a group of hard-partying, 20-something Italian-Americans at a shore house.

Jersey Shore starlet Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has been released from jail after being arrested in Seaside Heights, N.J., police said.

Snooki was taken into custody on the shore town's beach and then booked on charges of disorderly conduct around 3:30 p.m. Friday, officials said.

Police arrested the reality star after she was seen "acting in a disorderly manner."

Details of what led to the arrest of the reality TV star are currently unclear. However, entertainment blog TMZ posted photos of Snooki pouring what appeared to be Coca-Cola into a beer bong on the Seaside Heights boardwalk before her arrest.

Several members of the popular reality show's cast -- including Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino -- quickly made their way to the town's jail to visit their cast mate.

Less than an hour after Snooki's arrest, fellow cast member Jenni "J-WOWW" Farley tweeted she was "on her way" to spring her friend from jail. A Twitter hashtag of #FreeSnooki quickly made its way across the Twittersphere following news of the star's detainment.

News of Snooki's arrest comes just a day after the Jersey Shore crew started filming Season 3 of the popular MTV series. Season 2 also just premiered on the network Thursday.

New Song from Smashing Pumpkins

Billy Corgan has it going for him, he has celeb friends, and an awesome band! Just they need to release a new song or their fans might disappear. THANK GOD someone youtube the song. Now all the pumpkiners can chill, like me! haha...Enjoy!

As reported last week, Smashing Pumpkins set up a benefit show at Chicago's iconic Metro Tuesday night to raise funds for Madina Lake bassist Matthew Leone, who was brutally assaulted while protecting a woman from her abusive husband. Leone had surgery and is on the way to recovery, but exorbitant hospital bills have been piling up.

Before the Pumpkins took to the stage, the governor of Illinois, Pat Quinn, appeared to declare that it was officially Matthew Leone Day. To help Leone, fans purchased $10 raffle tickets to win entry into the concert, a bargain price for a good cause. For his part, Billy Corgan later auctioned off a guitar and joked he'd break it for more money. Eventually, a magnanimous fan won the signed guitar with a bid of $10,000.

Opening with new song 'Astral Planes,' the band rocked through old favorites 'Ava Adore,' 'Perfect,' 'Eye,' 'Today,' 'Bullet With Butterfly Wings' and 'Tarantula.' "You made this city proud tonight," Corgan told the jovial crowd. "Thanks for stepping up." Corgan then treated the fans to a new song, 'Blessed Mother,' but blanked on the lyrics, saying the tune was usually reserved for their sound checks. Stalling, he started to take requests from the audience while a stagehand brought out a lyric sheet and placed it on a staff before him. He joked about being unprofessional but then continued the song without a hitch.

Later, Corgan acknowledged the upcoming 22-year anniversary of his band's first gig, which took place at the Metro on Oct. 5, 1988, explaining back then he had only one guitar and one amp. The Pumpkins then delved into 'Cherub Rock,' 'That's the Way (My Love Is), 'Owata' and 'Tonight, Tonight,' which closed out the regular set. For the encore, the Metro staff and opener Kill Hannah joined Corgan onstage to sing '1979.' After, the band closed with the distorted bliss of 'Gossamer,' as their guitars thundered and strobes flashed. When their over two-hour set finished, a smiling Corgan and his band threw their commemorative drumsticks and guitar picks into the audience, capping a heartfelt tribute to Leone.

The Glamour Rock God

LADIES and GENTLEMAN! DAVID BOWIE!

David Bowie is an icon for rock n' roll and also FASHION! Look at his photos...all the poses and looks are used today. He's Fablous back then and today! His song "Fashion" describes fashion as a work of art and mind. Well... all I have to say is THANK GOD FOR DAVID BOWIE!

David Bowie Bio:
is an English musician, actor, record producer and arranger. Active in five decades of popular music and frequently reinventing his music and image, Bowie is widely regarded as an innovator, particularly for his work in the 1970s. He has been cited as an influence by many musicians and is known for his distinctive voice and the intellectual depth of his work.

Although he released an album (David Bowie) and several singles earlier, David Bowie first caught the eye and ear of the public in the autumn of 1969, when the song "Space Oddity" reached the top five of the UK Singles Chart. After a three-year period of experimentation he re-emerged in 1972 during the glam rock era as the flamboyant, androgynous alter ego Ziggy Stardust, spearheaded by the hit single "Starman" and the album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. The relatively short-lived Ziggy persona epitomised a career often marked by musical innovation, reinvention and striking visual presentation.

In 1975, Bowie achieved his first major American crossover success with the number-one single "Fame", co-written with John Lennon, and the hit album Young Americans, which the singer identified as "plastic soul". The sound constituted a radical shift in style that initially alienated many of his UK devotees. He then confounded the expectations of both his record label and his American audiences by recording the minimalist album Low (1977) — the first of three collaborations with Brian Eno over the next two years. The so-called "Berlin Trilogy" albums all reached the UK top five and garnered lasting critical praise.

After uneven commercial success in the late 1970s, Bowie had UK number ones with the 1980 single "Ashes to Ashes" and its parent album, Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps). He paired with Queen for the 1981 UK chart-topping single "Under Pressure", but reached a commercial peak in 1983 with the album Let's Dance, which yielded the hit singles "Let's Dance", "China Girl", and "Modern Love". Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Bowie continued to experiment with musical styles, including blue-eyed soul, industrial, adult contemporary, and jungle. His last recorded album was Reality (2003), which was supported by the 2003-2004 Reality Tour.

In the BBC's 2002 poll of the 100 Greatest Britons, Bowie ranked 29. Throughout his career he has sold an estimated 136 million albums, and ranks among the ten best-selling acts in UK pop history. In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked him 39th on their list of the 100 Greatest Rock Artists of All Time and the 23rd best singer of all time.

Living in a material world and I am a MATERIAL GIRL

Madonna has recently team(ed) up with Macys* for a juniors clothing line with her 13 year old daughter. Spite the fact that her daughter has fashion sense not for her age is very akward. She's 13 designing for people who are atleast
16 and older. But I must say I really like, because it do to the fact that I have the same clothes in my closet from Forever 21 and Wet Seal (lol).
Taylor Momsen is amazing to be the model for "Material Girl". She looks like she could have been a member of the band "The Runways" with that rebel look, she very eye shocking. This line fits well with her. Whoever decided this, GOOD PLAN! :)
INSPIRATION: Madge's early days – "Borderline," "Like a Virgin," "Lucky Star," "Papa Don't Preach," with a dash of The Girlie Show

TOP LOOKS: Layers, layers, layers. This collection is meant to be piled on -- a jacket over a bodysuit; a shirt, tank, or bustier with leggings, and so on.

ACCESSORIES: Love the metallic clutch bag/wallet, metallic "Capezio" oxfords, and mini gym bags.

The jewelry is what you'd expect: layered pieces made to mix high (pearls) and low (plastic-y trinkets). All that's missing are those signature stacked black rubber bracelets.

WHAT WE THOUGHT: This is not at all unpredictable. The collection is a mishmash of Madonna's greatest fashion hits from the early years with a smattering of current trends added in.

That said, there's nothing wrong with a little '80s flashback, in StyleList's opinion, as long as it's worn by the right people. (If you wore it back then, take note.)

The prices are right for the junior customer -- $12 to $40 – and Macy's is making a big, big deal about announcing its Material Girl spokesperson at a big event Aug. 3. The collection has all the cues a trendy young woman is looking for – studs, plaid, lace, and more. With racks and racks of items at the preview (and more hitting the store), we'd be surprised if there wasn't something for everyone.
