It's not common when I hear about short hair for women, but I do love it when my hair is short because it's feels different and it's easier to style. BUT! you need to be careful. One time, I was mistaken as a boy or a lesbian. I suggest to have some GIRL POWER to you hair, like: Curls, Bangs, Flips, or even dye your hair with highlights or a girl-ish color. I don't suggest this type of hair to everyone, for example: if you know you are fat and you want short hair, it's a BIG NO NO! It will make you a lot bigger because your hair is so short that it makes your head is smaller and your body is way bigger, I would stay with the medium or long hairstyles.
But don't get me wrong about short hair, they are great for summer because its hot out and humidity is a bitch. So its easy to just put products in your hair that humidity won't mess up. Also at the beach, washing out the sand and the seawater is very easy and won't take that long :)
